Amazing and unexpected delicious meal! It was rich and delicious! Everything we had was cooked to perfection.
Excellent service! The wine was paired perfectly. Bread in the mussels was so delicious. Great and comfortable ambiance. It's so beautiful. It was comfortable, but not too casual.
This place is super cozy and has a wholesome feeling to it. The tables for twos were too close together though, and it wasn't very nice. The ricotta ravioli was good but a bit too salty. Also tried the funghi and polenta dish which was filled with delicious mushrooms, really good for a warm, comforting meal. Overall we had a nice dinner!
Food was very good. Surprisingly the ox tail squid ink polenta was our favorite appetizer. The pork loin main was fabulous. The handmade black ink seafood pasta had good texture. The gnocchi was… different, the center filling could use some texture and more flavor as it felt like mush in your mouth. The pasta ragu was good. Will be back with friends definitely.
The baby carrots were so nourishing and good with the yogurt. Had a really special night here especially because of the perfectly social arrangement of tables and I was lucky to be welcomed to a seat right away even when it looked really busy. Everyone was really nice to meet here
Food was good their specials are short. The menu isn't too friendly I wanted to get like 4 course meal so I wanted to start with a Pasta dish I don't like to get big portions especially pasta then a salad and then a main course followed with a desert. But I was told they don't make half portion pastas so I was forced to order a full portion the dishes are executed perfectly atmosphere was cold. Menu is the same through out the year. I would like to see the menu change for a change.i cannot say anything bad but the place Steak gets to dry too quickly one item that was drenched in balsamic glaze.
So excited that I finally had an opportunity to try this Italian restaurant in Park Slope!
Food was INCREDIBLE. The pasta was fresh and wine was delicious. Squash ravioli was unbelievable - a MUST order.
Do not be deterred by the “second dining space” around the corner if the main dining room is full! I had a fabulous experience and would absolutely plan another dinner in the near future.
I would like to start off by saying this review is mostly about the table Infront of us that clearly lacked any couth, class and basic human decency who thought it was ok to continuously stare at my significant other and I as we tried to grab a quick bite after shopping in the area. The table who decided to blatantly and continuously stare at us as if we were a main attraction and to top it off the man in the blue who proceeded to stare my significant other up and down in disgust( full disclosure we are an interracial couple) as we decided to not finish our meal just so we could head home since we were very uncomfortable and annoyed. Decided to catch some pics of them while they weren't looking. As far as the food and service goes- subpar.
Rolling thru our tour of the world, well, Portugal and New York. We got to enjoy dinner in Brooklyn with a dear friend and she introduced us to their favorite Italian neighborhood stop. al di la Trattoria, they also have a market/bar on the back side. I started with a delicious Espresso martini and the ladies had a glass of red. My drink was great and 3 beans so I can live another day. The red wine was just ok. We started with their cuttlefish and oxtail over polenta. It's sea salty and delicious
My love ordered the Taglitille and Ragu, pasta is delicious made in house. The Ragu was ok a little flat. Our friend had the Braised Rabbit over polenta wow this is amazing. So flavorful and delicious. I had the Mushroom Polenta with a fried egg. It was woodsie and rich. And of course the polenta is great.
My love and I got to share some amazing news with our friend. We so much appreciate her excitement and genuine hope and love for our future. It's magical to share this adventure with you, can't wait to see what's next...thank you for saying yes, and really? Love you to the moon and back and 1,000 miles more. 🖤🖤🖤
